Available in 2 lines

The Ruff Cycles Lil Buddy Bola Red is equipped with a Bosch mid-mounted motor and is available in two lines: The Active Line and Performance Line. Both motors give you a smooth driving feeling and have no disturbing external noises. Furthermore, both motors have a power of 250 watts. The Performance Line is the sporty version of the two. The maximum torque (40-85 Nm) and cadence (>120 rpm) of the Performance Line means that you accelerate faster and have more support than the Active Line (30-40 Nm, 100 rpm).

Bosch PowerPack accu

A downside of the Performance Line is that you will achieve less battery range with this engine than with the Active Line. The e-bike comes with a Bosch PowerPack battery which is available in 300Wh or 500Wh. The range depends on several factors, namely weight of the driver and weather influences such as wind and outside temperature. With the Active Line you achieve a range between 35-85 km with a 300Wh battery and 58-142 km with the 500Wh battery. The Performance Line has a range of 31-63 km with the 300Wh battery and 52-105 km with the 500Wh battery. You can charge the Bosch battery in the bicycle, but also at the office or at home by removing the battery from the bicycle.

Very reliable bike

The Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes give you a lot of braking power, but are also easy to dose. This allows you to comfortably come to a fast stop, also when you have to make an emergency stop. You can shift gears with this e-bike with the reliable Shimano Altus 7-speed gear hub. Its critical parts are located in the hub, far away from outside influences. This means you have almost no maintenance on the Lil Buddy. In combination with the 5 different riding modes, this electric bike gives you a smooth ride in every situation.
