The
Trek Boone Disc Cyclocross Frameset 2018 is constructed from a low
weight, high-strength OCLV Carbon fibre, utilises a wide range of
technological advancements and has been pioneered by none other than
Sven Nys, the cyclocross legend. Its IsoSpeed Cross full carbon disc
fork soaks up the bumps of the course, whilst disc brakes with 12mm
thru-axles are designed to improve stopping power in a wide range of
conditions.
Pioneered by cyclocross legend, Sven Nys, and ridden
to multiple World Cup victories, the Trek Boone range is constructed to
absolutely decimate the opposition as soon as you step foot on the
cyclocross course. It's designed with versatility in mind, allowing you
to easily shoulder the bike for those pesky barriers, but also power
through the slurry that would otherwise bung up your bike, giving it an
extra 10kg of weight to ride with.
The OCLV Carbon fibre
construction is ultra light and tough enough to withstand anything you
can throw at it. Thanks to this low weight, you can prosper with a more
responsive front end and a rear end that melds to the rougher surfaces.
12mm thru-axles pay testament to this, soaking up vibrations and staying
rigid when taking impacts, whilst an IsoSpeed full carbon fork ensures a
small amount of vertical flex to complement this.
